This policy explains what personal information Kunstcart collects through kunstcart.com, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it.
Who we are
Kunstcart is an art consultancy run by Hillary Quinn, trading as Kunstcart, based in Dublin, Ireland. Hillary Quinn is the data controller for the information described here. You can contact us about anything in this policy at studio@kunstcart.com.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through the contact form, we collect:
- your name and email address
- the type of enquiry you select
- anything you write in your message
If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your email.
Like every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used to keep the site running securely.
Why we use it
We use your details only to reply to your enquiry and, if we go on to work together, to plan and deliver your project. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us and, where relevant, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract with you.
We do not use your details for marketing, we do not sell them, and we do not share them with anyone except the service providers below.
Who handles your data for us
- Netlify hosts this website and receives contact form submissions.
- Google Workspace provides our email, where enquiries are delivered and answered.
These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where they do, they rely on safeguards approved under EU law, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, so we can follow up on the conversation. If we work together, we keep project and billing records for as long as Irish law requires, generally six years. You can ask us to delete an enquiry sooner at any time.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- ask us to correct or delete it
- object to or ask us to restrict how we use it
- ask for your data in a portable format
To use any of these rights, email studio@kunstcart.com. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland at dataprotection.ie.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
